Now the directory of the Deadwood High School graduates is also a reality. Since the two schools were united by state mandate in 1971, this directory had been on the agenda of things to do, but not until this summer was it possible to get the job done. The directory was compiled by Helen Morganti, director of public relations for the school district, from the Deadwood school records. A great deal of time was spent trying to verify spelling of names from faded records, with some names appearing in more than one year. Trying to secure the correct information became impossible, so the roster is an exact copy of the master records of the school.

All graduates from 1886 to 1971 are listed. The cover design for the directory was created by Tim Franklin in Don Ruleaux's art class and also sUk-screened there. The $2 directories are available in the Lead High School superintendent's office. tws this tor cm). I 'have shopworn i pp" the AUCTION Sunday, October 14 1:00 p.m.
