W. Cooper writes home from Chicago University concerning the war preparations. Allen B. Good Friday, June t. when Miss Beryl Fastes, daughter of Mrs. Fremont Eastes became the bride of James B. Good, of Marion.

Ind. The bride chose as matron of honor, Mrs. Mary Ellen Good, of Indianapolis, who was one of her class mates at Indiana Central University. Alb-u iuod. brother of the groom, was best man.

The bride was lovely in a gown of lavender silk net over lavender satin and silver lace combined with rose buds and ribbon. The maid of honor wore a pretty frock of cream colored net over lemon shade pussy willow taffeta, adorned with clusters of yellow roses. Mrs. Good is an accomplished i young lady, a graduate of Indiana Central University and at present is the president nf Hie I5iwt- township Sundav schools and also superintendent of the Otterbein B. It is expected that the Stata Council will act under the adice of jthe Council of National Defense and that the County Councils will like Iwi'se act under the advice of tho State Council.
