Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Setser and daughters, Patty and Gloria, from Greenwood. Jaycee Board To Meet Tuesday The Franklin Junior Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a board meeting for Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Jaycee officials said the meeting will be held in Dell Savage's barhershop. Five new members were inducted into the Jaycee organization at a meeting this week at the Boy's Club. Join Jayeees The Franklin young men joining the Jayeees were Hugh Carter, William Cook, Larry Coffman, Marvin Duke, and Charles Wood. Seventeen members of the group attended the meeting this week and heard John Hill, Region vice-president from Seymour, speak on the advantages of lielonging to the Jayeees organization. Mr.

Hill outlined what the Jayeees should do for a community and pointed out what the new members could get out of the Jayeees. Dr. Philip George, Jaycee president, presided at the meeting. Blackwoll. Elmer Thompson and Emory Thompson. Died Saturday 111 since last May, Mrs. Selch died at 6:25 o'clock Saturday night in the Indiana Masonic Home Hospital. A native of Faris Crossing in Jennings county, she had spent most of her life at Providence and Bargersville.

Three daughters. a son. six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother are the survivors. Mr. Selch died on July 19.

Elmer Coryell Rites Announced A former Franklin resident. Elmer H. Coryell, will be buried in the Vernon cemetery following funeral services Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Jordan Funeral Home at Indianapolis. He died Wednesday at the Community Hospital in the capital city. Born at North Vernon 44 ago, Mr.

Coryell had serveel as a Second Lieutenant and pilot on a B-25 bomber in the Philippines during World War II. Served Ten Years A veteran of fen years service with the Air Force, he was a member of the Air Force Reserve and would have comdeted 20 years in the service next months. Mr. Coryell had been employed at the Chrysler Corporation Indianapolis plant before his illness. The survivors are the Mrs.

Edna Coryell, four sons, Ter-rv. Randy, Noel and Douglas all at home; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Coryell, of Detroit, Mich. Also remaining are five brothers and four sisters.

Frank G. Smith Rites Announced SHELBYVTLLE. Funeral services for Frank G. Smith. 71, will be conducted in the Carmony Funeral Home at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning.

The Rev. Ralph Wallace, of Columbus, is to be in charge of the services and burial will take place in Forest Hill cemetery'. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time and are invited to attend the rites. Mr. Smith died of a heart attack at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of a relative in Madison.

Native Of Nashville He was the son of the late Stanton and Jennie Smith and was born Jan. 20, 1891. at Nashvillo. On Aug. 16, 1913, he married Huldah Curry and eight children were born to them.

He was a retired farmer. Three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Dowden of Flat Rock: Mrs. Charles Jenkins, Mrs. William E.

Sullivan, of Shelby ville; and five sons. Charles N. Smith, George A. Smith, Ivory Smith, Fred D. Smith, of Shelbyville, and Lloyd E.

Smith, of Indianapolis, are the survivors. Others who remain are 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Jo Percy, Mrs. Ann Preston, of Florida; Mrs. Blanche Christian, and Mrs.
