The twenty-fifth anniversary of the Douglass Presbyterian Church was observed yesterday.

Bernard McAneney, a former resident of this town, was claimed by death at his home in Wilkes-Barre. Mr. McAneney lived on Luzerne street until five years ago. His death will be regretted. The condition of Albert Young, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Charles Young of South Regent street, who has been ill for several days, was Improved yesterday.
