Beloved wife of the late Domenico (2004) for over 55 years, dearly loved mother of Nick and Anne, Rocco and Laura, Phyllis and Claudio and the late Rita (2013). Caring and proud Nonna of Matthew (AnneMarie), Eric, John-Vincent, Giancarlo and Emily Rose. Concetta was born in San Vito Chietino, Italy in 1925 to Rosa and Pasquale Cupido. The last surviving member of her family of origin, was predeceased by her 'dear sisters Nicoletta and Anna and her brother Rocco. Arriving in Canada in 1952 with her two young sons to join her husband, Concetta's strength of character and good humour helped see her growing family through the trials of settling in a new country and later in providing for four children on her own when her husband became seriously ill.

Concetta's exceptional hospitality and generosity were a constant throughout her life. Her door was always open and the coffee was always on! The delicious Italian baking and feasts she created were her loving gift to all who knew her and loved her. Our sincerest thanks to all the exceptional nurses and caregivers of the 3rd floor Fidani Wing, Villa Colombo, Toronto. Dunc died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, three days before his 94th birthday, after a short illness. be sorely missed by his loving daughters Paddy (Richard Schreier) and Wendy Allin (Calvin), grandchildren Peter, Jeffery, Quinlan and MacKenzie, sister-in-law Rosemary Clewes, brother law Michael Whealy, and nieces Lise Whealy and Victoria AndicWhealy. Predeceased by his wife Margaret Elizabeth (Peg) Duncan Whealy) in 2012 with whom he had enjoyed 57 wonderful years. Dad especially enjoyed his time and friends at the family cottage in Newcastle, which he helped his father build in the early 1930s. A graduate of the University of Toronto in mechanical engineering, he served as a Captain in the Royal Canadian Mechanical and Electrical Engineers from 1942 until 1946.

He enjoyed a long career at Honeywell in Toronto, retiring as Sales Manager of the Commercial Division. Despite having outlived many of his lifelong friends, he continued to make new friends wherever he went. Dad had an amazingly positive outlook on life, a wonderful sense of humour and he was always willing to help out anyone in need particularly if it involved fixing something mechanical. "Reuse reduce recycle" was his mantra long before it became a slogan and he took great delight in rescuing things that others had discarded as beyond repair. HARRIS, Douglas George October 3, 1947 December 1, 2014 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doug at the age of 67. He passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, surrounded by his loving family. Son to the late Edward and Mary; beloved husband of 43 years to Heather; loving and proud father to Shaun (Julie), Teresa (Paul), Warren and Adam (Cindy); cherished granddad of Jack, Emma, Ryan, Reid, Kaitlyn, Juliette and Chloe; brother of Roger and the late Craig. Doug was an influential Insurance Underwriter and Surety Broker who helped pioneer new bond wordings and surety products. He was well respected in the industry and believed in building long term relationships, which he cherished.

He will always be remembered by family, friends and colleagues.
