This has been proven to the satisfaction of Dominie Sedlta, 613 Austin street.

Some time ago a gray mare be- longing to Sedlta wandered away from her own barn and feeding trough and fell Into the dutches of the dty pound keeper. Sedlta later found a gray mare and after paying the pound fee led the mare home. A few days later a man came along 1 and took the mare from him, daim-ing she belonged to him. After an investigation Sedita discovered he had taken the wrong-animal home, and that his mar baa been sold to a Mr. Rogers for $30 at an unclaimed stock sale.

Sedita located Rogers and petitioned Mayof Amerman to have the police department refund the purchase price of the mare to Rogers.
