At dusk there will be fireworks to wind np the celebration In a burst of glory. Many parties have already been formed, and indications are that goodly number will take part in the golfing events, v- while many will go down for the tea and dancing.

During the games punon was served and at the close an ice course. Mrs. Dewey's visit is the inspiration for a round of parties this week. A bridge party will be given Tuesday afternoon, and Mrs.

Philo Howard will entertain a small group of the honoree's friends at luncheon Tuesday at 1 o'clock. Mrs. E. T. Chew will give a bridge party Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday Mrs. K. It. Gilmer will give an informal luncheon and in the afternoon Mrs. Harry --Holmes -will entertain with bridge, the personnel to include the members ot her dub and a few additional guests.

Mrs. Adrian Moore and her guests, Mrs. Bid Boyles of Waco and Mrs. Beth Btrong of Dallas, will also be bonorees at this party. Several other hostesses have not yet completed their plana.

Society children are not to be outdone by their elders, and the past week there were a lot of children's parties. As one of the mothers expressed it, "just give them a birthday cake and let them cut it and have some ice cream to go with it, and you have a wonderful party for the children."
