Martha Mansfield, the star of this production, was one of the features of thr famous Zeigfeld Follies, but the producers did not content themselves with having a Follies star featured In the revue, but stepped out and engaged the finest talent from the various spectacular girl shows on Broadway, among them a sextet from the colorful "Rose of, 8tamboul," one of the most magnificent dance spectacles of the' 1922 season In New York. 1. Plans are being made to welcome 1500 to MOO cattlemen to El Paso March' 11, 14 and 15. when the annual convention of the Texas A Southwestern Cattle Raisers' association Is held here. Preliminary plans call for the expenditure of 15000 to 110,000 by members of the chamber of commerce and the crty, to entertain the visitors and to plan for an automobile, industries and fat stock show. Arrangements are being made to hold a Southwestern exposition, where live stock, automobiles and various products would be exhibited.

It is planned to Invite companies In West Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona to take part, and for the show to be free to the visitors. W. W. 1 William Marek, 23, of Chiiesman. was accidentally shot by his brother, Henry, while out duck hunting. He Is survived by his wife, a bride of six months. Seven Skeletons Found In Wichita Gravel Pit Tnlted Press Report.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas. Dec. 19. Authorities here were at a loss Tuesday to explain the presence of seven skeletons on a farm near here. Tho skeletons, one of which was that of a child, were unearthed by excavators working In a gravel pit.

They are now being held by J. M. Mlnyard, upon whose farm they were discovered. The natural presumption that the bones were those of Indians, long sinci gone to the "happy hunting ground." has been dlsproven, according to Investigators, by the absence of trinkets of any kind around the shallow graves. Several theories as to the skeletons have been advanced.
