In the opening game of the football season her today, the Agricultural and Mechanical college defeated Daniel Baker by a score of 60 to 0. The heavy Farmers smashed through the Daniel Baker line and circled their enda almost at" will. Daniel Baker made first down only once and that was on a forward pass, a play they used without success, again and again. Agricultural and Mechanical waa penalised frequently for holding and lost several long gains aa a result Captain Bell ran the length of the field once for. a touchdown, but was brwtghl back because of holding.

Within three minutes after the first kick-off to Daniel Baker, by a series of line plunges, Captain Bell made the first touchdown. Two minutes later Beasley circled end od ran through' a broken field forty-five yards tot another touchdown. Kern at end and quarter pktyed a brilliant game, making two touchdowns snd a drop kick. The other touchdowns were made by Lambert and Nelms, a fast little substitute. Bowler, a 226-pounder, ripped off gains of twenty, forty and forty-five yards.
