Hr Randall Grooms, Extension Beef Cattle Specialist from Overton, will be the guest speaker. The Commission will sponsor sandwiches and ice cream beginning at 6:30 p.m. DUCKS UNLIMITED AUCTION The annual auction for Ducks Unlimited will be at 6 p.m.

today at Paris Golf and Country Club. More than 50 items are up for sale at the auction. Proceeds will go to help provide wetlands for ducks and other wildlife. GRIEF MANAGEMENT SEMINAR Grief Management seminar, sponsored by Fry Gibbs Funeral Home will be from 7-10 p.m. today at Love Civic Center.

Sept 25 MAXEY RIFLEMAN GUN CLUB Maxey Rifleman Gun Club will hold a trophy silhouette match Sunday at the club range located two miles west of Loop 286 on FM79. The event will start at 10 a.m. and continue until all competitors have finished. Competitors will shoot both pistol and .22 rifle at targets from 25 meters out to 100 meters. Each will fire 40 rounds.

Trophies will be awarded in each class. DEMOCRATIC HEADQUARTERS The Lamar County Democratic Party will have a grand owning from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the headquarters, 3251 Lamar Ave. Suite B. Parking is available behind the building.

Monday. Sept 26 PARIS-LAMAR RTA MEETING State president Myrtice Larson will address the Paris-Lamar Retired Teachers Association at 11 a.m. in the Student Center Ballroom at Paris Junior College. Sept. 22 OPEN HOUSE CANCELED Paris Independent School District T.G. Givens Elementary open house scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today has been canceled, according to Billy Berry, princj- pal. Instead of an open house, Givens will host a report card day between the hours of 8 a.m.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in Rusk. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Odom was born Oct. 27, 1902, in the Glory community of Lamar County, a daughter of W.S. and Carrie Elizabeth McKinney Price. She married Ray Odom in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1949.

She was a retired teacher, having taught in Lamar County and Cherokee County. For many years she was a home demonstration agent for Cherokee County. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville, the DAR, the Wednesday Study Club, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Nan Travis Auxiliary. Surviving are a sister, Lelia Price Walker of Paris; two sisters-in-law, Mary Price of Mineola and Exie Price of Paris; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mildred Witcher Neely HONEY GROVE Mildred Witcher Neely, 79, of Fort Worth died Tuesday, Sept.

20, 1994, at her home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Preston Manley officiating.

Burial will be in Allen Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Neely was born March 10, 1915.

in Aliens Chapel, a daughter of Alonzo Lee and Minnie Lee Dutton Witcher. She married Elmer Thomas Neely June 13, 1931. He died Oct. 28, 1993. She was a retired clerk at Monnings Department Store in Fort Worth and a member of Vineyard Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Wilkcr-, son of Granbury; two sons, Bobby A. Neely of Mansfield and E. Thomas Neely of. Fort Worth; one brother, Thomas Earl Witcher of Sacramento, one sister, Lora Ramsey Seguin; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Jack Wilkerson, Paul Neely, Jeff Neely, Bobby Davenport, Thump Witcher and Francis Moran.

Harold E. Fuller GARLAND Harold E. Fuller, 73, of Garland died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 23, in Piano Bible Chapel Church, 1900 Shiloh Rd. in Piano under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. under the pavilion of Bogata Cemetery.

Pastors Jim Lewis and Robert Matthews will officiate. The family will receive friends after the services at the Howard Bryson residence on Farm to Market Road 909 in Bogat a. Mr. Fuller was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Arlington, a son of Bascom and Flossie Austin Fuller.

He married Nina Ruth Bryson July 27, 1943, in Vallejo, Calif. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy aboard the USS Minneapolis. He retired after 30 years service as a long distance truck driver with Safeway. Surviving are his wife; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carrolyn and Butch Black, Diana and Marty Wasterman and Linda and James McCullough, all of Garland; six grandsons, Allen Roberts of Del City, Damon Black, Brandon Deere, Justin and Jeremy Westerman, all of Garland, and Jason Deere of College Station; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Samantha Roberts of Mount Pleasant; a sister and brother- in-law, Kathryn and Don Bovill of Arlington. The family requests memorials be made to the Missions Fund of Piano Bible Chapel, 1900 Shiloh Piano, Texas 75074.

Norine Schultz COOPER Norine Schultz, 87, of Charleston died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, in Cherry Street Manor, Paris. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in East Delta Baptist Church with the Rev.

Burgie Thompson and the Rev. Micah Lane officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery by Delta Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from p.m. Thursday Mrs.

Schultz was born Oct. 14, 1906, in Charleston, a daughter of Marvin and Linnie Lain Oats. She married Archie Lee Schultz and was a charter member of East Delta Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Joann Schultz Garner of Arthur City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Margaret (Margie) Meador HUGO, Okla.

Margaret (Margie) Meador, 77, of Swink died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994, in Paris, Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Fort Towson Cemetery with the Rev. Bennie Hammons officiating.

Miller and Miller Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Meador was born Oct. 22, 1916. Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn Kent of Big Spring, Texas; one son, Gary Meador of Swink; one brother, Curtis Swink of Lawton; two Bernice Zimmerman of Odessa, Texas, and Ina, Mae Swink of Hillsboro, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Susie Mae Cain Susie Mae Cain, 59, Rt. 1, Box 314, Paris, iji, the Lamar Point community, died at her home at, 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 1994. Services will be held at 10 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 24, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Solice officiating. Burial will be in) Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home: Mrs. Cain was born Feb. 15, 1935, in Mourit Pleasant, a daughter of Sam and Lillie Roach Brown. She attended schools in Mount Pleasant and a business school in Fort Worth.

She married James Cain Dec. 13, 1956, in Mount Pleasant. They lived in the Fort Worth area until moving to Lamar Point in 1985. She was a member of the Emberson Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; and several aunts, cousins and an uncle in Mount Pleasant as well as a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Burt and Clara Cain'of Lamar Point.

She was preceded in death, by a son, Jimmy Cain, in 1982. Pallbearers will be C.H. (Sonny) Billy Don Manhart, Don Ronnie Moore, Robbie Moore, Jim Meek and Penn..
