George of Eagle Pas. The handsome home needed only the floral embellishment to complete a most beautiful and enhancing environment. White and green was the color scheme, the effect being featured In the dainty little periwinkle. Bridge Was the chosen amusement and five tables were arranged on the cool end spacious veranda, which had been converted Into a veritable bower of loveliness with beautiful hanging baskets of brass tilled with the chosen Tower and handsome ferns and potted plant forming the background. Intense pleasure reigned throughout the progression of several games, all of which wer won by Mrs.

Joseph Burke, who was rewarded with a handBome brass candlestick. The honor guest, Mrs. George, was given a beautiful brass vase. A fitting tlnale to the pleasures of the afternoon was the serving of a most delicious salad course. Those who enjoyed me hospiialti) with Mrs.

Wednesday night Miss Mary R. Rivers entertained a number of tho young friends, complimentary to her guest. Miss Beulah Smith, of Austin. Nine tables were laid, each table having a different game. After the required number of games were played It was found that Miss Jennie Bassist hail won the lady's prize and was presented with a beautiful gold bar pin.

W. Blckley proved the fortunate one In the gentleman's prize and was presented with a pretty slick pin. In the dining room was found a large punch bowl presided over by Mrs. Howard Rivers, which proved one of the most attractive features of the evening. At the conclusion of the games and before the prizes were awarded, refreshments of cream and cake were served after which the guests Indulged In music and conversation.
