(AP; The Dallas Cowboys say an operation on offensive tackle Rayfield Wright will keep the former all.pro lineman out of action for at least two months. Team officials said Wright underwent surgery in Texas Monday to correct problems in his ailing right knee. Bailey Marshall, assistant to the director of the University Interscholastic League for nearly five years, has been named director, effective Sept. 1. Marshall replaces Dr. Rhea Williams, who is retiring after holding the director's job since 1968. Both menalso have served as the UIL's athletic director.

Marshall, a native of nearby Georgetown, was a teacher and school admnistrator in Gla. dewater, White Oak and Lock, hart and had a winning record as a football and track coach at White oak. In addition to being conducted for approved stewards, this year all track managers and other officials are being invited to attend.

Don Essary, Director of Racing for the American OHA, said "It would be in the best interest of all track managers to attend and encourage as many of their officials as possible to attend this Seminar.
