SUNDAY, MARCH 14, 1993 HERALD-ZEITUNG 3-B marry in double ring wedding A Mrs. Barton Duane Lindemann Susan Denise Denson and Barton Duane Lindemann of Dallas were married Feb. 20 in a double-ring ceremony at First Protestant United Church of Christ in Dallas. The Rev. Dr.

Peter Olson of First Protestant Church and Mrs. Isabell Andrews, Diaconal Minister of the United Methodist Church and godmother to the bride, officiated at the 7 p.m. ceremony. Soloist was Dr. Bert Neely, Assistant Dean of Southwest Texas State University, who sang Panis Angelicus, Perfect Love and the Lord's Prayer.

Organist was Frances Webb. The bride' and groom's mothers lighted the unity candle to begin the ceremony. Cooney and O'Brien wed in SA ceremony Jamie Cooney and John J. O'Brien were married Feb. 26 at The Historic Jose Navarro Museum in San Antonio.

Justice of the. Peace. Richard Teniente officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. J.L. Cooney of New Braunfels. She graduated from Lamar University and is employed as a dental hygienist in San Antonio. The groom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. V.A. O'Brien of San Antonio. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and is employed by UPS in San Antonio. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev.

and will make their home in San Antonio. Births McKenna Jerry and Christie Whitaker of San Antonio; 6-pound 14-ounce girl; March 5. Grandparents: Jesse and Joann Butler, and Homer and Linda Whitaker, Vicente and Margie Romero Jr. of New Braunfels; 6-pound 12- ounce girl; March 5. Dallas fashioned of imported snow white silk satin and re embroidered French Alencon lace encrusted with seed pearls, intricate beading and sparkling paillettes. The molded basque bodice featured: a sweetheart neckline and graceful V-shaped back, The gown's slim silhouette featured puffed sleeves accented with seed pearls and palettes and adorned with delicate bows of freshwater pearls and palettes and adorned with delicate bows of freshwater pearls at the elbow, at which point the sleeves tapered to a above the hands. Matching seed pearls and pailettes on Alencon lace adorned the bottom of the gown to form an inverted-V design that corresponded to the design emanating from the bodice to the waist.

The elongated cathedral train was designed with three see-through French Alencon lace motifs accented with seed pearls, and the train dropped from detachable waterfall bustle that ended with a wide edging of Alencon lace encircling the entire train. She wore a veil of English silk illusion that flowed from a headpiece accented with seed pearls and sparkling paillettes. The bride carried a bouquet of duchess and Visa red roses, varlegated English ivy, stephanotis, and white tube roses designed by Gary Eddins. She wore a preCivil War gold coin, given her by her maternal grandparents which had belonged to Mr. R.B.

Richter, her late great-grandfather. The white leather bound bible, presented to the bride at her christening by Mrs. B.W. Bock, her godmother, was placed on the altar. Maid of Honor was Katherine Matlock of Houston.

Bridesmaids were Kimberly Uhr of Austin and Kristin Uhr of Dallas, cousins of the bride; Karen Edwards Henry of Chantilly, Carol Davis Henderson and Cindi Abbott, both of Houston. The groom-to-be is the son of Alfred and Christine Haeussler of Greune. He attended Trinity University and Southwest Texas State University, and is an aviator in the U.S. Navy. The wedding will beat 6 p.m. April 17, at Cross Lutheran Church, in New Braunfels.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Edwin Denson of Dallas and formerly of New Braunfels and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J.

Uhr and Mrs. Alma Hill Denson, all of New Braunfels. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Barton Lindemann of Refugio and the grandson of Mr.

and Mrs. M.D. McGee and Mrs. Otto Lindemann and the late Mr. Lindemann, all of San Antonio.

The third generation of her family to be married in this church, the bride was escorted by her father to the Trumpet Voluntary, played by Mr. Bernard Nero with organ accompaniment. The bride wore a gown created expressly for her by Gabriella of Dustyn and Michelle Tysdal of New Braunfels; 6-pound 15-ounce boy; March 8, Grandparents Lew and Pat Simmonds, and Daryl and Sue Tysdal. Christina M. Sotelo and Christopher Amados; 6-pound 13- ounce girl; March 10.

Grandparents: Ramiro and Rosie Sotelo and Javier and Eva Amador, and puffed silk organza sleeves accented with seed and freshwater pearls. Above the elbow black satin gloves and stone and teardrop pearl earrings, gifts from the. bride, accented their ensembles. They carried presentation bouquets of red Visa roses, white iris, alstroemeria, and whit spray roses tied with red silk cord. The best man was Michael McSwain of Lubbock.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the International Ballroom of the Officers' Club at Randolph Air Force Base. white iris, fuschia stock, and white miniature carnations decorated the gracefully curved buffet table accented by four silver candelabras. Individual table arrangements of the theme flowers and votives adorned the linen covered guests' tables. A four-tiered Italian amaretto cream bride's cake decorated, with 1 red Visa roses was served. The groom's cake of Dutch chocolate with raspberry filling complimented the table. Flanking each side of the ballroom stage were theme arrangements in large black urns on snow white pedestals, and graceful fern and other wispy greenery accented the entire front of the stage.

Attired in tuxedos, the music was provided by Paul McLaughlin's Mogan David band. A bottle of champagne from White House stock was presented to the couple for their toast to each other by John Henderson of Dallas, Heublin, Inc. National Manager, Military Sales. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Mr. Mrs.

Otto Barton Lindemann of Refugio at the Langston House on Friday evening. Visa and duchess roses in varying shades of red adorned the tables accented by tapered candles. Special toasts and tributes were given by the bride's uncle, Barry W. Uhr of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs.

Robert J. Uhr, the bride's maternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Barton Lindemann, parents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs.

Richard Denson, parents of the bride, and various members of the wedding party. The bride's parents hosted a breakfast at the Hotel Faust the morning following the wedding for out of town guests from Dallas, Houston, Del Mar, San Antonio, Austin and Refugio who stayed at the hotel.
