McNally, 39, formerly of Springdale, is one of seven people arrested Dec. 1 on charges of being a distributor of the drug.

She entered her plea Monday as part of a plea bargain in which the government agreed not to seek a mandatory minimum 20-year term for distributa drug that contributed to a death. U.S. District Judge Donald E. Ziegler did not set a sentencing date. Probe asked on supplies Westmoreland Human Opportunities Inc.

has asked the district attorney and the state attorney general to investigate the disappearance of almost $78,000 worth of home repair materials from the county's weatherization program. Diane Marks, assistant director of human services for the county, said an audit showed that $93,000 worth of supplies were in storage from 1987 to 1988, but a recent count showed only $15,000 worth stored in a hangar at the Westmoreland County Airport. WHO solicitor Irving Bloom said that some of the materials might have been scrapped, but the difference was so great that an investigation was warranted. The county recently turned over the $800,000 program, which assists low-income families with energy-saving home repairs, to the Westmoreland County Housing Authority after WHO ran into financial difficulties. The money will benefit the Caring Program for Children, a community service program of Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Blue Shield. The agencies match the funds raised.

Before the breakfast, organizers had hoped to raise enough money to benefit 50 children. Lawyer joins academy Edward C.
