Registration is at 1 p.m. and competition will begin at 1:30 p.m. Five separate contests may be entered in any combination or separately: modeling girls aged one to 15 years; talent, girls aged four to 15 years; macho boys aged two to nine years and special Halloween costume boys and girls ages one to 12 years and photogenic boys and girls aged newborn to 15 years. Contestants do not have to be present to win the photogenic contest. All that is required is an unframed color of black and white photography, any size and the entry fee.

No interviews will be held. Contestants will be judged on overall appearance and nersonalitv, A total of 11 crowns and 54 trophies will be awarded. All crown winners advance to the International Miss World Mrs. Barnett heads W.M.A. Paris News Service TALCO Mrs.

Terry Barnett was elected president for 1981-82 when the Women's Missionary Auxiliary of the First Baptist Church in Talco met Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Wayman Alexander. Other officers elected include Mrs. W. E.

Welch, vice president; Mrs. Alexander, secretarytreasurer and Alice Ruth Tidwell, card chairman. Mrs. Donald Jones presided during the business session with Mrs. W.

E. Welch voicing the opening prayer. Plans were made to give gifts to the nursing home during Thanksgiving and to the children's home in Waxahachie during Christmas. "Running the Race" was the title of the devotional brought by Mrs. Jones.

The next meeting will be in the home of Mrs. Jones Pageant to be held next July in Dallas. Judges will be provided by the pageant organization. Entry forms, which should be submitted by Oct. 3, are available at Tiffany's 2445 Clarksville; Calico Tree, 1021 S.

Mrs. Cox compared the family of the past to today's and cited examples of children's behavior that is acceptable in today's world.

She expressed concern for the traditional family unit. Regina Harris led members in the opening ritual and presided during the business session. She reminded the group of the Oct. 1 deadline for registration for the 1981 East Texas Area Convention to be held at LBJ Holiday Inn in Mesquite on Oct. 24.

She read a letter concerning the Business and Professional Women's Craft Fair on Nov. 14-15 and ap pointed Susie Sokoll to check on possible items for the sale. Mrs. Betty Wright gave the financial report and Mrs. Carol Watkins, service chairman, gave a summary of candidates for the "Adopt a Grandparent" program at Cherry Street Manor in which the chapter is participating.
