Mary Lou Johnson And Guests Here For Week-End Miss Mary Lou Johnson, who attends the trnlvcrslty of Texas In Austin, spent the week-end visiting with her parents, Dr and Mra. Thomas M. Johnson. Century Club Postpones Picnic To May 22 Postponement of the annual New Century Club picnic to May 32 was announced Tuesday by those in charge.

Planned for Wednesday, May 15, the picnic will a week later, held May 22, just the announcement salad always Is a festive dish. Why not use it this year for the main dish of the wedding buffet? It is not difficult to prepare, but Is handsome to look at, delicious nnd. luxurious enough to honor the hew bride arid groom. Lobster Salad One clip cooked lobster, cut In small chunks, 1-2 cup diced celery, 1-2 cup diced green pepper, 3 tablespoons diced onion, 12 cup well- seasoned mayonnaise, 4 tablespoons lemon Juice, 1 head lettuce or curly endive, 2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced, 18 radishes, cut Into roses. Mix together the lobster, celery, green pepper, diced onion, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.

Arrange the lettuce or curly endive in two- quart heat-resistant glass utility dish. Place the lobster salad on top of the salad greens, and parnlsh with the slices of hard-cooked eggc and radish roses. Serve at once. Makes 0 servings; double to serve 12. Bride's Salad One envelope plain unflavorcd gelatlno, 1-4 cup cold water, 1 cup hot.

canned pineapple juice, 1-4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1 dozen mnrshmallows, cut into small pieces, 1-2 cup cream, whipped. Soften gelatin In cold water and dissolve in hot pineapple juice. Add salt and lemon juice and cool. When mixture begins to thicken, fold in pineapple, strawberries, marshmallows, and whipped cream. Turn Into Individual molds that have been rinsed out In cold water first, and chill.

When firm, unmold onto salad greens. Garnish with whole strawberries and serve with mayonnaise. TOMORROW'S MENU (fa Accord With FEC Program) BREAKFAST: Orange juice, ham omelet, enriched toast, butter or fortified margarine, coffee, milk. LUNCHEON: Broccoli on toast with cheese sauce, crisp bacon, stewed rhubarb, tea, milk. HARDING HONORED AT DANCE SATURDAY EVENING IN DEL RIO COUNTRY CLUB Seniors At Del Rio High School Busy With Examinations Members of the Senior Class of the Del Rio High School had paused in their busy round of socials this week for their final examinations. Exams began at 8 ajn. Monday and will continue for the Seniors through Wednesday. Seniors will receive their grades Friday. Other classes of the High School arc carrying on as usual with final exams slated for the week of May 20.

Social activities were suspended for the Seniors but just through Wednesday afternoon; a formal dance is slated for Wednesday evening and the galtles continue from then through commencement night. Laura Mae Skiles Leads Program For Pioneers Sunday Laura Mac Skiles was leader for the Pioneer program In the First Presbyterian Church Sunday evening. The program topic was "Other Religions." Madison entertained at a dance In the Del Rio Country Club. The class colors, red and white, were in thfe decorations throughout the club. In the reception hall, where the honor guest and Miss Dorothy June Stricklen received, the mantle was banked with magnolias. The ladies lounge and the men's room were decorated with red roses and similar blossoms were used hi the dining room. The table was laid in an Italian lace cloth centered with red gladioli and white stock.
