Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mr. Adams was born in Patoka, a son of Charles M. and Elizabeth Hawkins Adams. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a retired conductor of the Norfolk Western Railway.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors and was on the Board of Directors of the Norfolk and Western Credit Union. He married Irene Arnold in Decatur on May 26, 1923. He leaves his wife, daughter, Mrs. Delmond (Patricia) Hoffman of St. Louis; sons, Gene of St.

Louis; Benjamin of Decatur; brothers, Denver, Frank, Fielding, all of Patoka; three granddaughters. DEAKINS Arthur Franklin Deakins, 81, of Rock Springs Road, died 9:05 p.m. Wednesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Brintlinger's Funeral Home. GAMEL Mrs.

H.H. (Luttie Gamel, 81, of Rossville, formerly of Decatur, died Tuesday afternoon at a Chattanooga, Tenn. hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Graceland Cemetery.

Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gamel was born in Baldwyn, a daughter of Benjamin and Alice White Davidson. She was a resident of Decatur for many years. She was a member of the Prairie Avenue Christian Church.

She married H.H. Gamel in Tupelo, in 1907. He died in 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Ratcliff of Indianapolis, sons, H.H.

of Chicago; B.B. of Chattanooga, five grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Earl Geer, 66, of Route 7 died 7:50 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home where friends niay call after 6 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Mr.

Geer was born in Clinton. a son of George and Mertie Babb Geer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II and was a retired elevator installer. He married Emma Schaab.

She died in 1961. Surviving are: a son, Jack of Tampa, sisters, Mrs. Pearl Moler, Mrs. Grace Cook, both of Decatur; one grandchild. Two brothers preceded in death.

JILES Mrs. William H. (Rose Jiles, 87, of The Concord died Tuesday in her home. Funeral services will be. 10 Data from NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

MENTZ Walter E. Mentz, 66, of rural Warrensburg died 5:35 a.m. Tuesday i in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home, where friends may call after 5 p.m.

Thursday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. RICE Mrs. Marshall (Helen Rice, 73, of 4927 Melwood Ave. died 6:05 a.m.

Wednesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m.

Thursday at Brintlinger's Funeral Home, and from 2 p.m. until services Friday at the church. Mrs. Rice was born. in Chicago, a daughter of Peter and Alfreda Dohlfers Lawrence.

She was a member of We est minster Presbyterian Church. She married Rev. Marshall W. Rice in Chicago, Aug. 1, 1929.

Surviving are her husband; son, Rev. William of Pekin; two grandchildren. One brother preceded in death. Memorials: Westminster Presbyterian Church. SHEIBNER Mrs.

Carrie S. Sheibner, 99, died Wednesday morning in the Order of the Eastern Star Home, Macon. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Sherwood Funeral Home, Moweaqua, where friends may call. The body will be cremated.

Mrs. Sheibner was born in Chicago, a daughter of George P. and Sara Sanna Sage. A son, George K. Keiser, of Whitewater, survives.

WENTZ Roy "Daddy" Wentz, 87, of Springfield, formerly of Decatur died 7 p.m. Monday in Dirkson House, Springfield. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Vancil Funeral Home, Springfield, where friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur. Mr. Wentz was born in Sullivan, son of Albert and Oma Fessler Wentz. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springfield and the Springfield Lions Club. He spent nearly 40 years at Springfield High School, serving as a teacher, coach, dean, assistant principal and principal.

In 1917, he coached the Springfield High School basketball team to the state championship. He married Mina Regnold in Decatur. Surviving are his wife; son, Roy, of Wilmington, daughter, Harriet Wentz of Springfield; and four grandchildren. WILLIAMSON Mrs. Harry (Florence) Williamson, 68, of 936 N.

Warren St. died 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m.

LYTTON Dale F. Lytton, 40, of Oceanside, formerly of Flora, died Saturday in his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.

Friday at Frank Funeral Home, Flora, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday. Burial and military rites will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Mr. Lytton was born in Flora, son of Earl and Edna Lents Lytton.

Surviving are his mother of Flora; sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae Dixon of Franklin, Mrs. Laura Bailey of Wood River; Linda Uchitjil of Odin; and brother, Richard of Washington, Ind. MILLARD Roy "Skinny" Millard, 83, of Omaha, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died 9:30 p.m. Monday in Omaha.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Schahl Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. There will be military rites at graveside in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. He was a retired bricklayer.

He was born in Fairfield, son of Varnum and Charlotte Little Millard. He was a World War I veteran. NEELEY Florence Neeley, 85, of Flora died 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clay County Hospital, Flora. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Cardascio Funeral Home in Flora.

QUERRY Revell E. Querry, 78, of Paris died 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Paris Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Sutton and Son Funeral Home, Paris, where friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m.

Friday. Masonic rites will 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Edgar Mausoleum, Paris. He leaves his wife, Mary of Paris; son, Harry of Champaign; daughter, Mrs.

Helen Williamson of Madison, three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. ROBINSON Dean Robinson, 39, of Vandalia was dead on arrival at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church, Westfield.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday in Beery -Hohlt Funeral Home, Vandalia, and after 5 p.m. Friday at Markwell Funeral Home, Westfield. Masonic rites will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Beery- -Hohlt Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Kansas. Mr. Robinson was born in Kansas, a son of Murray and Ferne Throneburg Robinson. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Westfield. He married Ruby Phillips March 28, 1953, 1 in California.

He leaves his wife; sons, Donald Ray of Selfarite Air Force Base, Jimmy Dean of Kesler Air Force Base, Tommy, at home; father of Westfield; sisters, Mrs. Della Rose Behl, Mrs. Thelma Griffin, Mrs. Bill (Betty) Robinson and Mrs. Eugene (Deloras) Sweeney, all of Mattoon; and Mrs.

Norman (Wanda) Gilbert of Westfield. A brother preceded him in death. SHIPLEY SHIPLEY Maurice Beryl Shipley, 56, of Waynesville died 9:30 p.m. Monday in Wright-Patterson Air p.m. Thursday at Linton Funeral Home, Kinmundy, where friends may call anytime.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy. Mr. Sullens was born in Alma, son of Luell and Amy Farthing Sullens. He was a member of the Kinmundy Masonic Lodge. He married Dorothy Garrett.

Surviving are his wife; son, Larry of Moline; brothers, Rolla ct Salem; Floyd of Villa Park; sister, Mrs. Grace Bailey of Quincy; and three grandchildren. TRUEBLOOD Della G. Trueblood, 70, of Tuscola died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Jarman Hospital, Tuscola.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Waddington Funeral Home, Tuscola, where friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Tuscola Cemetery. Mrs.

Trueblood was born in McPhearson County, daughter of Clark and Frances Van Meter Millison. She married Marion Trueblood July 3, 1919, in Tuscola. He died in 1961. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Tuscola. Surviving are a son, James of Tuscola; halfbrother, Martin Trueblood of Topeka, halfsister, Anna Rogers of Portland, six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

WATSON Mrs. John (Susan Lola) Watson, 83, of Flora, formerly of Streator, died 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in Clay County Hospital, Flora. Funeral services will be Friday at Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in Hillerest Cemetery, Streator.

Cardascio Funeral Home in Flora is in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Watson was born in Camargo, daughter of William and Mary Louisa Peter Bird. She married John Watson. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are sons, James Anna Maria, Donald of Streator; Lloyd of Flora; daughters, Mrs. Marjorie McFadden of Streator; Mrs. Mary Lou Compton of Tipton, sisters, Mrs. Zula Goodwin of Taylorville; Mrs. Vivien White of Vandalia; Ohio; Mrs.

Fern Edwards of Denver, 17 grandchildren; and 20 greatgrandchildren. WINTER Mrs. Martin (Irma) Winter, 76, of Beason died 12:40 p.m. Wednesday in Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m.

Saturday in Holland Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Mrs. Winter was born in Strasburg, daughter of Gottlieb and Regina Hahn Mueller.

She married Martin Winter, Jan. 30. 1923, in Strasburg. He died in 1959. She leaves sons, Marvin of Beason; Carl of Lincoln; sisters, Lucinda Mueller of Springfield; Mrs.

Etta Olmsted of Alexandria, brother, Herbert Mueller of Stuart, and six grandchildren. She married John Harley Fellwock in Salem in 1923. She then married Harry Elis Williamson in Centralia on Sept. 25, 1939. Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. Charles (Lavada) Leeds of Decatur; sisters, Mrs.

Myra Bower of East St. Louis; Mrs. Rose Taylor of McLeansboro; Mrs. Nellie Wallace of Wayne, and two grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded in death.

Central Illinois BAZAAR Freeman E. Bazaar, 57, of Cudahy, formerly of X- enia, died Friday in his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Christian Church of Xenia. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, X- enia.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Frank Funeral Home in Flora. Mr. Bazaar was born in Clay County. Surviving are his wife, Joan; sons, Charles and Eugene, both at home; and daughter, Deann at home.

BLACK Lamar Black, 86, of San Francisco, formerly of Janesville, died Jan. 15 in a nursing home at Portland, Ore. Funeral services were Jan. 17 in the A.J. Rose and Son Funeral Home, Portland, Ore.

Burial was in Golden Gate Cemetery, San Francisco, Mr. Black was born near Janesville. He married Alice Mumford who preceded him in death. He was a World War I veteran. Surviving are sisters, Mrs.

Nell Barger of Decatur and Mrs. Hazel Williams of Janesville. BOYD William T. Boyd, 75, of Lincoln died 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St.

Clara's Manor, Lincoln. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fricke Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Beason.

Mr. Boyd was born in Ewing, son of William and Elizabeth Neal Boyd. He was a member of the Church of God, Lincoln. He married Mary Lowe in Hannibal, Dec. 29, 1940.

Surviving are his wife; son, David of Lincoln; sister, Mrs. Martha Taylor of Wenatchee, and two grandchildren. One daughter, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. GILLMORE Mrs. William (Flossie Marie) Gillmore, 75, of Mount Auburn died at 11:40 a.m.

Tuesday in her home. Funeral services will be at 2 a.m. Friday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, Illiopolis, where friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis.

GROSS Delmar Loren Gross, 56, of Taylorville died 8:16 p.m. Tuesday in Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. Funeral services will be at 2.p p.m. Friday in Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, where friends may call from to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in Fraley Cemetery, near Taylorville. Mr. Gross was born in Force Base Hospital, Dayton, Chio. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Pullen-Boos Funeral Home, Clinton, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.

Thursday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Waynesville. Shipley was born in Waynesville, a son of Wilhelm Mamie L. Kirby Shipley. He retired from the Air Force as a staff Sergeant after 26 years of service.

Mr. Shipley was a member of the Waynesville American Legion and Christian Church. He married Mary Edwards in San Antonio. Surviving are his son, Jerry of Dallas, daughter, Mrs. Linda Roberts of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, Robert of Stuart, Dale of Waynesville; sister, Mrs.

Dorothy LaDew, Waynesville; mother of Waynesville; and 2 grandchildren. SULLENS SULLENS Lewie V. Sullens, 64, of Urbana, formerly of Kinmundy, died 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in Cole Hospital, Champaign.
