KLEMM Decatur BLACKSTONE Miss Marguerite E. of Lake Bluff, a former resident of Decatur, died 8:10 p.m.

Friday at the Hill Top Sanitarium in Lake Bluff where she had been a patient Services for Miss Blackstone will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Dawson Wikoff Chapel. Miss Blackstone was born in Decatur, the daughter of Benton and Margaret H. Betzer Blackstone. She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist; The Mother Church in Boston, past president of the Decatur Garden Club; a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority at the University of Illinois; past member of the Woman's Council of Decatur; attended the Study Class in Decatur; and was a world traveler.

She leaves one sister, Adele Blackstone of New York, who recently moved to the Decatur area. DEICHMAN Mrs. Claude E. (Vivian) Deichman, 84, a former Decatur resident, died April 5 in Catherine Moody Hospital, Baldwin Park, -Calif. Funeral services were conducted in the Oakdale Chapel funeral home, Glendora, April 7.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ira (Gwendolyn) Swift of West Covina, and seven grandchildren. Her husband, Claude E. Deichman, was a state leader in Masonic activities and a Decatur Herald and Review Linotype operator prior to his death in 1944. A son also preceded her in death.

Smith was born in Macon County, a- son of Minnie A. Lourasn Smith. He was a retired clerk employed by the Illinois Central Railroad. He married Velma I. Dodson in 1937.

She died in 1964. Surviving are a stepson, Ralph Duddleston of California, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Fagan of Decatur. STRONG William H. "Bill" Strong, 49, of 6 N.

E. Carroll died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday in his home. Services for Mr. Strong wul be at 10:30 a.m.

He was a produce buyer and supervisor for Tolly's Markets and served in the U. S. Army in World War n. Mr. Strong was a member of the Great Light Lodge 1064 AF AM, Macon Chapter 21 R.

A. Beaumanoir Commandery 9 K. formerly of Decatur died Friday in Baptist Hospital, Oklahoma City, Okla. Mr. DeLaughter was born in Decatur a son of Sam and Nannie Barlow DeLaughter.

He was a veteran of World War I. He married Louise Knoor. She preceded him in death. Surviving are sons, Julius and August, both of Oklahoma City, daughters, Mrs. James R.

Young of Amaruto, Mrs. Cora Louise Cook of Decatur; brother, Albert of El Reno, sisters, Mrs. Ruth Dodson and Mrs. Kate Bryant, both of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Lena Whittaker of El Reno, 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and sue great great -grandchildren.
