MISS MEYER TO CONSULT WITH WORKSHOP TEACHERS Miss Charlotte Meyer, director ol elementary education, will go to the GAS SHARE DROPS New Distribution Method Cuts Macon County Allotment Macon County's share of state gasoline tax collections for June is $29,529, more than $3,000 lower than the $32,818 allotment for June 1953, it was shown today in a report received by County Clerk Laurence Tangney. The allotment for June, 1952, was $35,643, but that was before a revision of the method of distribution which lowered county allotments on a percentage basis. June allotments to other Central Illinois counties are: Logan, $8,843.41 Moultrie, $4,428.23 Piatt, $4,781.47 Richland, $5,956.60 Shelbv, $7,807.90 Christian, $12,612.24 Clav, $5,812.92 Coles, $16,078.30 Dewitt, $5,078.07 Douglas, $5,638.07 University of Chicago Thursday to consult with three teachers from the Decatur school svstem who are at tending a workshop on economic education there.

She will visit the workshop at the invitation of its directors, who also have invited administrators from the other school svstems which have teachers at the workshop. SEVERAL YEARS, DIES Lee. Godker, 45, of 121 Vi E. Main died yesterday. Mr. God-ker, a resident of Decatur for the past 31 vears, had been in serious condition for the past two weeks and ill health tor several years.

He was born on Aug. 20, 1908, in Salem, the son of Rudolph and Ola Godker. He is survived bv his father, who now lives in Atlanta, 111. Also surviving are two brothers, Verlin, Salem, and Altus, De catur; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Long, Atlanta, 111., and irs.

Arta Baker, New Albany, Ind. Mr. Godker was an Armv veteran of World War II. The body is at the J. J.
