CENTRAL ILLINOIS DEATHS Becker James Loren Becker, 72, of ke Lotawana, formerly of Decatur, died Saturday (July 29, 1989) in Independence Regional Health Center, Independence, Mo. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Robert Bellamarine Catholic Church, Blue Springs, Mo.

Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Blue Spings Cemetery. Memorials: Cancer Action Prairie Township Rescue Unit Building Fund or St. Robert Bellamarine Catholic Church. Mr.

Becker was born in Decatur, son of Bruce and Laura Becker. He was a machinist for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 1981, and formerly a machinist for Borg Warner Corp. in Decatur. He was a member of American Legion of Blue Springs, Machinists Local 356, American Association of Retired Persons, St. Robert Bellamarine Catholic Church and a World War II Navy veteran.

He married LaVeta Klein. Surviving are his wife; sons, Bruce R. of El Paso, Texas; John P. and James both of Kansas City, daughter, Jamie L. Phillips of Gladstone, stepsister, Eve Alexander of Decatur; seven grandchildren.

GREENVILLE Mrs. Don (Dorothy Smith) Brown, 87, of Winchester, formerly of Greenville, died 5:30 a.m. Sunday (July 30, 1989) in Aberjona Nursing Home, Winchester. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Greenville.

No visitation. Dewey-Schildknecht Funeral Home, Greenville, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Aberjona Nursing Home. Mrs. Brown was born in Pocahontas, daughter of James F.

and Clara Smith. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Winchester and P.E.O. Chapter, Chicago. She married Don R. Brown in 1927.

He preceded her in death. Surviving are her son, Don of Winchester; brother, James F. Smith of Eagerville; sister, Bethany Bossart of Mount Clemens, Re Ann Wood of Chesterfield, two grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death. Chamberlin OLNEY Harold W.

Chamberlin, 80, of Olney died 2:30 a.m. Monday (July 31, 1989) in Burgin Manor Nursing Home, Olney. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Zirkle Funeral Home, Olney, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

She was a former employee of Decatur Dry Goods Store and Carson, Pirie, Scott a member of Evangelical Church, Woman's Club of Decatur and Millikin Tri Psi Mother's Sorority.

She married Russell Bridgewater in 1926. He died in 1980. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. E. Curtis (Phyllis) Gripp of Wilmette; brothers, Herman and Robert Grolla, both of Decatur; Emil Grolla of Scottsdale, Ariz; sister, Grace Broadbear of Washington, two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

8 Dotson Mrs. William (Audrey) Dotson, 64, of Decatur died 3:20 p.m. Monday (July 31, 1989) in her Arrangements are incomplete Mitchell in 1927. They were divorced and she preceded him in death. He married Marjorie Nation in 1976.

Doll NEOGA Henry Doll, 86, of rural Neoga died 2:20 p.m. Sunday (July 30, 1989) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Olson Funeral Home, Rockford, with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Rockford.

Sunday (July 30, 1989) in Sullivan Living Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, past matron of Crystal Chapter 39 Order of the Eastern Star, charter member of Sullivan Living Center Auxiliary, member of Rhoda Rebekah Lodge 167, High Priestess of White Shrine, Elabella Court of Amaranth, member of Sunshine Club and War Club. She married Orval Gustin in 1916.

They were divorced. He died in 1970. Surviving are her sons, William "Woody" of Sullivan; Brice of Kenosha, Roger of Madera, daughter, Carmen Florey of Spencer, sisters, Doris Gallent of Sullivan; Bonnie Mon- MACON at Dawson Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Fastenrath Fastenrath ice. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials: donor's choice. Mr. Fastenrath was born in Essen, Germany, son of August and Amalia Fastenrath. He was retired from J.L. Simmons Co.

with 40 years of service, a member of Painters Local 288 and St. James Catholic Church. He married Hulda G. Jeschawitz in 1934. Shirley Karl Fastenrath, 84, of Decatur died 7:18 p.m. Sunday, (July 30, 1989) in St. Mary's Hospital. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St.

James Catholic Church. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. in Brintlinger's Funeral Home Fastenrath with 6 p.m. prayer serv- roe of Sullivan; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Harden OLNEY Mrs. L.J. (Aileen S. Stivers) Harden, 70, of Addison, Ohio, formerly of Olney, died 9:30 a.m. Monday (July 31, 1989) in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Summers Funeral Home, Olney, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney. Memorials: Holzer Medical Center Chapel.

Mrs. Harden was born in Olney, daughter of Louis and Maggie Stivers. She was a member of First Christian Church, Caldwell, Ohio. She married L.J. "Jack" Harden Jr.

in 1941. Surviving are her husband; daughters, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Runyon of Pompano Beach, Nancy Dunlap of Zanesville, Ohio; brother, Louis Stivers Jr. of Carlinville; nine grandchildren; six great One grandchildren, brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Jennings FLORA Charles E.

Jennings, 58, of Decatur, formerly of Flora, died 6:25 a.m. Monday (July 31, 1989) from injuries suffered in an auto accident north of Blue Mound on Route 48. Arrangements are incomplete at Frank Bright Funeral Home, Flora. Robinson MOWEAQUA Mrs. Roy (Mildred M.

Davidson) Robinson, 92, of Moweaqua- died 7:45 a.m. Monday (July 31, 1989) in her home. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Odd Fellow Cemetery, Moweaqua. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m.

Robinson in 1916. He died in 1974. He was a truck driver and dock worker for A.B.F. Trucking Springfield, a member of Teamsters Local 916, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He married Henrietta Holt in 1978. Surviving are his wife of El Paso, Texas; sons, Tracey and Raymond Holtshirley, Robert Earl Shirley Anthony Ray and Scott Douglas Shirley, all of Decatur; Franklin Duane Shirley of Tucson, daughters, Raychelle T. and Nora Sims. He was a principal of Mulberry Grove High School, Bond County Superintendent of Schools from 1930 to 1938 and owned and operated a Ben Franklin Store in Greenville for 25 years, retiring in 1973. He was a lifetime charter member of Bond County Fair Board, member of Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Greenville College Board of Trustees, chairman of Utlaut Hospital Fundraising Committee and the Board of Trustees, charter member and past president of Greenville Kiwanis Club, member of Retired Teachers Association and First United Methodist Church. He received the Outstanding Retailers Award from 1939 to 1972 and the Jaycees Distinguished Service Award in 1983. He married Marie H.

Justi in 1923. She died in 1975. Surviving is his daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Justine Joyce) Brewer of Ballwin, Mo. One son and three brothers preceded him in death.

Thompson Greenville died 9:45 p.m. Sunday (July 30, 1989) in Utlaut Memorial Hospital, Greenville. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home, Greenville, with visitation after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Burial will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Mrs. Thompson was born in Brownstown, daughter of William and Verna Post. She was a member of First Christian Church, Greenville.

She married Frank Busch. He died in 1941. She married Edward Forbes. She married Henry R. Thompson.

He died in 1985. Trummel Virgil C. Trummel, 78, of Decatur died 6:55 a.m. Monday (July 31, 1989) in his home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church, Mount Zion.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Dawson Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, Mount Zion. Mr.

Trummel was born in Argenta, son of Christian Edward and Pearl Trummel. He was a retired owner of Trummel Insurance Agency, a member of First United Methodist Church, Mount Zion, and past treasurer of Long Creek Fire District, serving for 20 years. He married Mary Martha Cooley in 1931. Surviving are his wife; son, Jack of Charleston, S.C.; brother, Verne of Wheaton; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. CORRECTIONS Wilma Head was robbed of approximately $30 in a purse-snatching about 10:30 p.m.

Saturday. She was returning from a friend's house with a grocery bag of clothing which held her purse when she was accosted by the thief as she was unlocking her rear door. A story in Monday's Herald Review incorrectly stated she was unloading groceries and that the purse held more than $150. A reporter erred.
