PAGE 14B SUNDAY MARCH 19, 2023 THE WICHITA EAGLE Wichita, Kansas Erma JoAnn Drevets, 92, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her hus- band of years, Dr. Curtis Drevets, and survived by her brother Dr. Marion Hammarlund of Riverside, CA, and three sons, Dr. Wayne (Michele) of Rancho Santa Fe, CA; Dr.

Douglas (Becky) of Edmond, OK; and Brian (Carolyn) of Wichita; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Born in Maple Hill, KS, March 8, 1931, to Milton and Verna Hammarlund, Jody gradu- ated from Topeka High and Kansas State University with a business education degree. She taught at Hamilton and Manhattan High School be- fore marrying Curtis in 1954. Jody raised three boys along with serving as Sedgwick County Medical Auxiliary President, librarian at Wich- ita Collegiate, and Director of Ministry at First Evangelical Free Church, as well as speaking about her faith in Christ at numerous Christian Connec- tion events in Kansas and Nebraska. She also served alongside her husband on more than thirty internation- al missions trips.

Known for her warm and joyful outlook, Jody encouraged others wherever she went. Jody loved people and left a legacy of prayer, outreach, hospitality, and joy. Visita- tion with family and friends: 6-8 pm, Friday, March 24 at Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St. N.

A Rosary service will begin at 9:30, fol- lowed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., all at St.

Cecilia Catholic Church. Committal will take place at Calvary Cemetery, located at 610 Vassar St, Wichita, KS 67218, at approximately 12:30 p.m. In lieu of ers, the family asks that you donate in memory to the Kansas Humane Society; St. Jude Research Hospital; or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Katherine Lynch May 13, 1940 March 15, 2023 Goddard, Kansas Ran- dy Dale Riley, 66, Retired food broker for K.E.H.E. passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. He was pre- ceded in death by his wife; Karen L. Riley. Randy is sur- vived by his wife; Karren S.

Steve is survived by his children, Lindsey Dirks, Kel- ly Burnison, and Tyler Dirks; his sisters and brother-in- law, Debra and Bruce Simp- son, Jill Crotts and Terry Hammonds; many nieces and nephews; and his four grand- children-Banks (8), Kate and Hayden (6), and Hudson (4). He graduated from North High School in 1965. He went on to graduate from Wichita State University in 1970 with a degree in Busi- ness. He worked many jobs, but mostly loved his time in all ventures of real estate. On June 26, 1979, January 20, 1984, and May 25, 1986, he welcomed his three children, Lindsey, Kelly, and Tyler, into the world who were the most important part of his life. Steve was a devoted fa- ther of three and grandfather to his four precious grand- children.

He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who loved him dear- ly. Steve enjoyed his friend- ships, as well as making peo- ple feel special, and of course food! His sisters, Debra, Jill and Terri were his biggest fans. sense of humor, quick wit and compassion- ate nature will leave a lasting impression on all who knew him. After college, Sean built a 29- year career at the Hillcrest Apartments where he was admired by his coworkers and residents for his willing- ness to always help anyone that needed a hand. artistic spirit and talents which were expressed in both his painting and in his writing were his gifts to the world. He is survived by his wife, Judy, son, Jason and numerous family members. Tom retired from the Air Force. After which he worked at that recruit- ed and hired contract work- ers for the aircraft compa- nies. He was a square dance caller and teacher. He loved wood working and enjoyed being a member of the local Wood Workers Guild.

He and Judy en- joyed traveling adventures throughout their lives. Tom was also a long time mem- ber of the American Legion in Andover. He and Judy are members of the Westlink Pathway Church. She loved being with her family and spend- ing time with her grandkids. Donna was born to Truman and Eva Patterson in Topeka, Kansas. She had 3 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving her are Truman (Buster) Patterson of Wichi- ta, KS and Howard Patterson of Amarillo, TX. Preceded her in death are Bobby Patterson and Marion Moon.

Surviving members of her family are: daughter Mary Marie Hickman and Spike of Amarillo, TX, son Floyd A Stone and Wilma of Wichi- ta, KS and son Danny Stone who has passed on. Grand- children: Cathy Hickman of Amarillo, TX, Michelle Stone of Rapid City, SD, James Hickman of Amarillo, TX, Kim Matzen and Brian of Wichita, KS, Justin and Nicole Low of Lonejack, MO, Hollis Low of Wich- ita, KS and Eric Stone of who has passed on. Donna Stone June 17, 1939 March 16, 2023 Wichita, Kansas LeAnn M. Baskerville, 56, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, March 24, 2023, at Central Community Church Chapel. Preceded in death by her father, Eugene F. Basker- ville.

Survived by her moth- er, Virginia L. Baskerville; brothers, Lynn (Joni) Bask- erville, Dean (Earlene) Bask- erville; sister, Cathy (Steve) Elmore; numerous nieces and nephews. Grace attended Emmen- thal Elementary School and graduated from Goessel High School. She continued her education at Bethel College and Hutchinson Community College. Grace married John Schro- eder on December 10, 1947.

They lived in North Newton, KS and raised two children, Jeffrey and Catherine. Grace was active in the Bethel College Mennonite Church and committed her life to many volunteer orga- nizations. Grace will always be re- membered for her beaming smile, her sense of humor and the love she showed oth- ers. Grace was preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her chil- dren, Jeffrey Schroeder (Mary Kay) of Los Alamos, NM and Catherine Holde- man (Delvin) of Wichita, KS.

Grace has four grandchildren, Jessica Schroeder of Colora- do Springs, CO, John Schro- eder (Jenny) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Emily Raybould (Mark) of Ramona, CA, and Meghan Schroeder of Santa Fe, NM. In addition, she has 3 great-grandchildren, Saw- yer Raybould, Cali Raybould and Zachary Schroeder. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Satur- day March 25, 2023, Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton, KS, with lunch to follow. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Janice is survived by her husband, Cecilio Baca; her children, Jon- na (Ted) Kissinger, Sheri Bryan (Michelle) Kevin (Sandy) Baca, and Joanne NeSmith; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Janice is also survived by her sister, Connie Gean.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Zelpha Kirk and her sisters, Francis Morris, Donna Townsley, Judy Gunderson and Sharon Lee.
