The City Barbershop Dodgers edged the Four Winds Tornadoes 8-7 in a game played Wednesday at Roseburg next opponent win De Corvallis. Corvallis will invade Roseburg for games next Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Both contests will be benefit games to help pay for the new bleachers.

North Bend Favored North Bend is the favored team as the coastal squad has made excellent showings in its meets so far this season. Grants Pass and Eugene are also considered to have top teams.

Robby Williams, Dana Rhoden and Bill Zimmerman are among the Roseburg swimmers expected to bring home trophies. Williams is undefeated in the ll-to-12-year-old freestyle competition. Zimmerman is also undefeated in the 13-to-14 age group. He is considered one of the top freestyle and breast stroke swimmers in the state in his age group. Miss Rhoden has made good showings in recent meets, competing in tile 11-12 age group breast stroke.
