Mrs Kenneth Poster ef Algona was flown to Iowa City's University hospital Thursday Mr and Mrs Wiliiatn Ringgenberg were visited Sunday by Mr and Mrs Kay Andrews of Madrid. Mr and Mrs Roy Bjustrom had as guests Sunday the former's cousin and her husband, Mr and Mrs Harry Berkley of Madrid. Mrs Harriet Hie* went Jo Eagle Grove Saturday to attend the funeral services of a long time friend, Mrs Frank Boater. Mrs Leroy Peterson and daughters Sharon and Patricia of Humboldt came Thursday for p visit with the parents, Mr and Mrs Clinton Lighter. The girls remained for a longer visit and will be here several days. Larry Douglas, sort of Mr and Mrs Henry Douglas has been in service and stationed at Houston, Texas. He will be home Monday, having received his discharge and after a brief visit here will go to Chicago in search of employment. ft. and Mrs Harold fcrfekton were recently visited by Mrs Erickson's parents, Judge and Mrs O. J. Anderson of Buffalo, Minn. Mr and Mrs Wayne StephMi- spn, former residents here now living at Madrid, called on Mrs Joan Scott and Mr and Mrs Ernie Godfredson Sunday. Mrs Don Potter. Cindy and Kathy spent a few days at Schaller with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Don McDonough who had been visiting at the parental, Dr. Ray Mr and M« Grady Phillips, Sandra and Gayle have returned from a two weeks Vacation at Phoenix, Ariz., San Diego, Calif., and Denver, Colo. At Denver they visited an aunt of Mrs Phillips. Mr and Mrs James Kolp spent Sunday at Ida Grove with the former's parents, Mr and Mrs James Kolp Sr. The junior Kolps recently moved into the A. L. Long house on east McGregor street vacated by Mr and Mrs Larry Knoll who purchased the Dr. Robert Horton hpuse on north Jones street. Mr and Mrs Dick Meyer dfote to Buffalo Center Monday night to visit the latter's brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Don Tapper to whom a daughter Donnarae was born July 31. There is another child in the family, a son Pnul. Mr and Mrs Walter Steven will have their son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Merle Cooper and family of Des Moines as guests during Mr Cooper's vacation. They are coming Sunday and will be here a week. They are former residents here. Mr and Mr« Eldon Moore moved to Estherville Aug. 1 and have taken over the management at "Harold's Ice cream Shop." The couple was recently married and had taken a Ray Davidson apartment. The apartment is now occupied by Mr and Mrs Cooper. Mr and Mrs William Ringgenberg and Mrs Art Kiocker spent a day last week at Blue Earth, Minn., with Mrs Ringgenberg's parents and brothers and sisters- in-law, Mr and Mrs Abe Tuttle, Mr and Mrs Hubert Tuttle and Mr and Mrs Floyd Tuttle respectively.
