Bolton learned of the death of their two sons in action PO William Ellwood who has a wife and child in Bolton was killed July 6 Pte James Banner man Ellwood 27 whose wife re sides on Bloor St was reported missing Jan 17 but news of his death has just been released is buried in Italy near where he fell until it is possible to have his body removed to the Canadian cemetery at the chaplain of the Perth regiment to which he belonged wrote to Mrs Ellwood In September 1942 James Ell wood married Miss Edith McCau ley three months before he went overseas He had enlisted the pre vious ebruary
