' , I f! bella Susan Purvis, daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Purvis, was bom Apnl 7, 1868, near Beloit, Wise She came with her parents to Algona. when only two years old and had been a resident here since that time. Well-knownVby many Algonans and active in church and club work, Miss Pur- vis lived alone in a home oh N. Minnesota st. until her hospital' Nation. Survivors include a sister and brother. They are Mrs Ruth Clefton, Owatonna, Minn,, and p. L. Purvis of Petaluna, Cal. A brother-in-law, Ed Hough, Al* gona, also survives. She Was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Mf aftd Mrs Duane Sheppafd, Diane and Debbie and Mr and Mrs Earl Sheppard spent the weekend at Lake Okoboji and Spirit Lake.
