Belle Purvis, , Services Held Monday Last rites for Isabella S. (Belle) Purvis, 89, one of Algotta's oldest residents, were held Monday at *, P- m - >n McCullough's Funeral Chapel. Rev. M. H. Brower, Presbyterian minister, officiated ahfl burial was In Rivirvtew eem- etery. Pallbearers at the funeral were Tim O'Bfteti, Praftk Stetnit*, Dick Sjogren, Max Bast, Bill Finn and Byron Richardson. _ Miss Purvis diM fifty fWday, ttoljr &, at St. Ann hospital, where she had been a patient for I? rnonths. Isabella Susan Purvis, daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Purvis, was torn April 7, 1868, hear Belolt, wise. She came with her patents to Algona when only two years old and had been a resident heffe since that time. Well-known by many Algerians and active in church and club work, Miss Pur- vis lived alone in a home cm N. Minnesota St. until her hospitnl- teation. Sttrvlwrs include a sister «td brother. They are Mrs Ruth Clefton, Owatonna, Minn., and S. L. PWvis of Petaluna, Cal. A brother-in-law, Ed Hough, Algona, also survivw.
