Parochial Xmas Program, Wesley Wesley — Pupils of St. Joseph's parochial school presented a Christmas program to a capacity crowd in the parish hall Wednesday evening, Dec. 19. A short guild meeting preceded the program. The first and second graders presented "Jingle Bells" and ••Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Rein deer" by the Rhythm Band and as action songs. . The third and fourth graders; presented a Christmas playlet "The First Christmas." Fifth and sixth graders presented "Christmas Eve," choral speaking and carols and 'A Living Christmas Tree." Seventh and eighth graders presented a two - act operetta, •Old Crosspatch." Cookies, coffee or milk was served to all by circles eight and nine of the Guild. William Grant, son of Mr and Mrs Frank Grant of Britt and Sharon Kay, Burtis was made by the bride-to- be's parents, Mr and Mrs Glenn Burtis of Algona. A July wedding is planned. Miss Burtis is now attending School of Commerce, Omaha, and will graduate in February. Mr Grant is a 1959 graduate of the Britt high school and is presently in the U.S. Marines at Santa Ana, Calif.
