Hoffman, gave him Christmas on Nov. 19, and hundreds shared in it. Toys, money, letters and cards poured in from throughout the country and from other lands. Doctors in Denver then took over. They performed several operations in an effort to save the wide-eyed, serious little, fellow's life.
