A couple of other Southwest Louisiana stars added to their luster during last week's action and there were several changes in tlie list of the state lead- rrs. Abbeville's Johnny Duhon trimmed a tenth of a second off his top clocking in the low hurdles, skimming the timber in in the state Class AA meet Friday. The time didn't go into tlie record books because of a strong supporting wind, however.

Glenn Valdetero of Crowley took over the state's top spot in tiie hop-step-jump. covering 45 feet, 7 inches in the AA meet. The Class AA affair accounted for several of the changes. THE ANNUAL PUBLIC hearings on hunting regulations will be held at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria on June 28 and 29 this year.
