M. Resolutions of Condolence The following resolutions of condolence on the death of Brother Joseph Thomas were adopted by the members of Hope Lodge, No. 60, A. O. U.

W. at their regular meeting in Friday evening WHEREAS, It has pleased an all wise Providence to remove from our midst our late Worthy Brother and fellow member, Joseph Thomas, and WHEREAS: Brother Thomas' in tlmate relations with the members of this order and his Interest, al ways manifest, In the welfare of this Lodge, render it fitting that we should make record of his worth as a fellow member, and. WHEREAS: In the death ot Brother Thomas this Lodge has lost a most worthy brother and our com. munity one of its respected citizens. Therefore be it, RESOLVED: That we deplore the death of Brother Thomas with deep feeling of regret, confident in the hope that bis spirit rests in absolute peace and happiness In a bet ter world, and, be it further RESOLVED: That we extend to the afflicted relatives our sincere condolence and our earnest sym pathy in this deepest affliction, in the loss of a devoted father and husband, and a loving and affectionate son and brother, and be it futher RESOLVED: That the charter of this Lodge be draped In mourning for a period of thrlty days, and that a copy of these resolutions be transmitted to the relatives of the deceased and that they be spread in full upon the records of this meeting.
