C. L. Vallandigham today was of a most imposing character, and was probably the largest which has ever taken place in the State of Ohio. The procession was about two miles in length and was composed of persons of all political parties and walks of life. Business in many parts of the city was suspended during the passage ol the funeral cortege, and the city buildings and many private residences were draped in mourning.
