battle with the University of 'Vir ginia by a 28 to 13 victory The game gave the 6000 fans those who had the gasoline or shoe leather to get there a good run for their money It was mostly a running chase because Virginia played in the air and did a good job of it while Carolina stuck to the ground and made the most of every running break Life is rather dull in the capital these days what with the war and the push and shove for food and drink and a seat on the streetcar so a sizable delega tion of Washington Tar Heels got to Charlottesville by one way or another to see the gridiron show The
