One of the features of the entertainment and one which the crowd did not have to pay for, was the cooks and helpers preparing breakfast. When It is considered that a small vjllage of people has to be fed each meal, the fact that the whole thing was accomplished in less than a half hour this morning shows considerable system.

Nearly six hundred loaves of bread are required each day, besides 250 pounds of meat each meal and three crates of eggs. In the way of food for both men and stock, the Campbell circus will leave cjuite a sum of money in the Soo. The parade this afternoon was commented upon as above the ordinary in general appearance. This afternoon many are seeing the show which attracted a large number of out-of-town visitors. The Campbell organization has but two colored men ainong all its workmen, a fact that is a departure from the custom of present day circuses.

The two men of color have been with the Campbell outfit for a number of years. In other cities where the circus has exhibited Campbell (Brothers have been highly spoken of for a clean lol of showmen with a most orderly attraction. The organization has its own rules of discipline and will not tolerate short changing, or petty graft. If any of this is found to exist among its employes, charges are filed forthwith by the management in an effort to prosecute. With the fine day and all of it to himself, the Soo small boy thoroughly enjoyed himself at the grounds, plaing with the ponies and taking in big lungfuls of sawdust.
