m. MARSHFIELD, June 22 (AP) The steamer S. S. Jefferson Myers was free again today after having gone aground three time in Coos Bay. The ship, with a lumber cargo, struck on an obstruction in the bay a week ago.

Shortly after being pulled loose she went aground on ballast rock dumped by windjammers years ago. Refloated, she mired in mud deposited by Coos river. A diver reported no damage. As far back as the third millennium B. equinoxes and solstices were determined In China by the stars.
