A part of this butter was sold in the home market, the balance being shipped to other places at good prices. The creamery has a capacity of 600 pounds of but ter a day, and that means a disburse ment of 198 a day to the farmers who supply the cream. We judge from the report that the creamery wants to Interest the farmers near Monroe to an extent thatwilf require the operation of the creamery to its full capacity, and this result ought to be easily obtained.

The creamery affords a new source of profit to the farmer and it is the more desirable in that it all comes- from a product that has been here- tofore practically waste for such it is In communities beyond the influence of the creamery market.
