Obituaries BESSIE McCREIGHT Bessie Leanna Ramsey, dau ghter of James and Jennie Carson Ramsey was born July 1, 1884, near Cromwell Adams County, Iowa and parted this life at ClearView Nursing Home at on April 17, 1968 at the age of 83 years and 9 months. She moved with her parents to earfield at an eariy age. st of her life has lived around the Clearfield community. On December 27, 1905 she was united in marriage to fner Orwin McCreight. To is union were born six en: Mildred (Mrs.

Dick ng) of Lenox; Duane of on, Pennsylvania; Alta died in infancy; Oxford Junction, iowa; Floy of Clarinda; and Ray of er, Pennsylvania. She was proceeded in death by her husband Elmer, a hter, her parents, and two ters. Besides her children she leaves three daughters-in-law and one son-in-law, nine andchildren, four-great grand children, other relatives and friends. She was a life long member of the United Presbyterian Ch urch. Her Church, and the people of the commun ity were her first love and cor sideration.

Memorial Services were ld AprM'20, at 2:00 in the Clearfield Christian Ch urch, with Rev. Robert Odish aw officiating, assisted Rev. James Dorsey. Bob and Dwight McMath sang, panied by Mrs. Robert art.

Casketbearers were Paul Brown, Dale Brown, Routh, R. E. Spurrier, Don ephens, and Russeil. will be held Gt the School F. Glen Quick Of Redding Dies Frank Glen of William and El iza Miller Qu ick was born September 7th, 1893 at Redding, Iowa and departed from this life on. Friday April 19 1968 at the Ringgold Coonty Hospital in Mt.Ayr following several. months illness. He had attained the age of 74 years, 7 months and 12 days.

He had been a life ng resident! Redding, Iowa. In early life he joined the United Presbyterian Redding, Iowa. 30,1932, he was united in marriage with El la Maude Malaney of ing and to this union were. born three sons, Lyle Quick Creston, Iowa and Dale. Ouick of Also Howard, who died in infancy.

Two Mary (Mrs. John Overholtz- er) of Tingley, Iowa and Jean (Mrs. Ronald Tull)ofAnna- irginia. He was devoted and loving husband and father. He took great pride and enjoyment in his grandchildren.

He was a farmer in the dding community for a ber of years and a substitute mail carrier (rural) for over 19 years. For 9 years he was employed by the Farmers. Mutual Telephone Co. of Redding, Iowa He retired to is present home five ars ago. He was preceeded in th by his parents, his infant son and an infant ghter.

Those who a re left to urn his passing are his wife, Ella Maude Redding; his two sons and two daughters; one daughter-in-law, ette Quick Creston, Iowa two sons-in-law, John Over- holtzer of Tingley and Ron- Tull of irg inia; three- grandchildren, Pamela unJ Roger Quick of Creston and John Alan Overholtzer of ir ngley. one brother, Carl ick of Redding and two ters, Mary Stephens of ton and Wilma South of ning, Iowa. relatives and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and many nds. Final rites were conducted Sunday, April 21st at 2:30 M.

Guy Stevenson of Des ines was taken by ambulance early Sunday morning to the Metnodist Hospital where he has been given bll- ood transfusions the past few days. His condition is roving at this time. Donald Burgher of Dallas Center underwent emergency major surgery last Thursday evening at Des Moines eral Hospital in Des Moines. He was able to return to his home the middle of the ek He is the son of Mr Mrs.Pearl Burgher of rav ty and the son-in-law of Mr and Mrs.George Bailey. Jim Larson, who has been a patient in the Rosary pital in Corning for several days was able to return to his home over the week end.

Milo J. Brink Dies Milo Brink, 80, passed ay at the Creston Hospital Mo nday evening following an ness of several months. Mr. Brink was a retired mer and had lived in the ning, Creston and Clearfield communities, having lived in Creston since 1950. He was married to Beadle in 1953, who survives.

He is also survived by two others, Harry Brink of Creston and Fred Brink of Okaton, S. D. and by two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Craft and Mrs. Dosha Drake, both of Corning.
