the Saturday starts in unison Clay the lively By MIKE BISSON Some teachers have the opinion that to gain a complete knowledge of your subject you Inust devote more time to the subject than class time allows This causes them to make dreary time consuming assignments What can be more bothersome than having to write a com plete synopsis of any seven of plays or some petty assignment on a night when you planned to birther your social standing at the local billiard parlor You can however take heart from the fact that many times this is unnecessary You will of course get a few assignments like those pre viously mentioned The majority of your assignments will be such exciting topics as "Read pages 162 to 179 and do questions 1 9 on the digestive juices in the or "do problems 1 24 which deal with the quadratic formula In run of the mill cases such as these your friends become important Make sure two or three of your close friends are reasonably intelligent Be generous with them If one needs money to buy his lunch lend it to him and pester him for re payment Your generosity will be repaid 100 times in the work he will save you Remember cheating is dishonest and unfair to those who do their work without help If you must "innocently an other persons homework be honest and change the words a little Give it your own personal touch' It will take only a few seconds longer than if you it verbatim There are some classes in which homework cannot be con tinually without the teacher soon "getting wise" to going on These are mainly mathematics classes In general thanks to the help of your friends and a wise choice of classes that assign little homework you can success fully avoid doing a large percentage of your assignments Best selling records of the week based on The Cash Box
