McMahon, Margaret McNown and Mrs. M. O. Bourne aang three Christmas carols. A one act play, "His First »Dress Suit," was given by four high school pupils under the direction of David Phillips. The players were Russell Pickett, Bob Dewel Virginia Morck, and Helen Schultz Shirley Helberg, Ann Stlllman, Mar- lorie Dewel, Rosnlee Halpin, Ruth Ann Burns and Marilyn Tuttle of :he second grade sang a group of enrols. They were accompanied by Margaret McNown at the ptano. A group of instrumental selections' were played by Donald Parsons, Glen Raney and Mrs. E. C. McMahon, accompanied by Margaret Me- Town. There was a dancing num- >er by Ardis Kresensky, Marilyn Keen and June Ann Bcanlan accompanied by Virginia Schnepf. 'he social committee served home made candies daintily wrapped in gold and red paper on silver Shower for Britie-to-Be— Mary Bebwr, Mrs. Frank Elsen- barth, Mrs. J. Kramer, MarceUa Thill, Imelda Dooley, Ruth and Marietta Bestenlehner, Alice Payne Lucille Efsenbarth, and Lucille Kramer entertained at the St. Cecelia academy Sunday afternoon at a miscellaneous shower honoring Kathryn Delm, who will marry Woodrow Johnson some time this week. There were orer 100 guests in attendance. Five hundred and bridge were played. First prize in flv hundred went to Mrs. George Nauman, and low prize to Mrs. Frank Capeslus. Mrs. George Kohl won high prize in bridge, and Mrs. E. J. Kelly low score prize. Kathryn received many beauttfo? gifts, and a delicious lunch was served. Bridge-Luncheon— Mrs. L. E. Linnan and Mrs. R. B. Waller entertained a gro,up of friends at a 1 o'clock luncheon last Wednesday at the Linnan home. During the afternoon bridge was played at five tables. Prize for high score went to . Mrs, W. T. Peters of Burt, and second high to Mrs. L. C. Nugent Mrs. R. H. Wilier won a lucky prize and Mrs. O. S.
