Brown, Dies Harry D. Brown of 4087 Park Lane, supervisor of engineering and construction for several Chicago landmarks, died at 10 p.m. Monday in Decatur Memorial Hospital. A retired chief engineer for the city of Chicago building department, Mr. Brown, 82, moved here following i retirement seven years ago.

During 56 years in the engineering and construction field, he supervised the building of the Chicago Tribune plant, Wrigley Field, Chicago in-cinerator and other landmarks. He was a member of Central Christian Church, Mel Tierney American Legion Post, University Club of Park Ridge, Engineering Club and Friars in Chicago. A World War I Army veteran, he married Elvira Hallier Nov. 3, 1917 in Chicago. p.m.
