Nancy Alto Oarriwn Mrs. Nancy Alice Garrison, (3, ·resident of Highway 16 west, died in the home ot her eon-in-law, Everett Skelton, yesterday at 5 p.h. after an extended illness. She was born' November 17, 1868, in Ozark Mo., the daughter of Wil- 4iam and Loulsle Shipman She moved to Fayetteville in 1903 and had made her home here since. She wa» a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Edna Wattf of Merced, Calif., Mrs. Jessie Hamblen of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Bertha Robinson of Hipley, Calif., and Mrs. Eva Skelton and Mrs. Edith Skelton, both of Fayettevills; three sons, W. Carrol Garrison of Wheeler, Dewey Garrison of Fay- jtteville, and Lee Garrison of Ventura, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Diamrna Melton of Springfield, Mo.; 33 grandchildren, 32 great- grandchildern, and six great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Nelson's Funeral Home chapel by Dr. Walter Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, assisted by Wie Rev. Mr. Sharp, pastor of the Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. R. B. Dcmltl Word has been received here by Mrs. Lucille Dunn and Mrs. George Waggoner of the death of their brother, R. B. Daniel, last ffight at 9 o'clock in Buena Park, Calif., where he resided. A carpenter, Mr. Daniel lived here for several years before moving to California six years ago. In addition to Mrs. Dunn and Mrs. Waggoner, he is survived by three daughters and one son; two other sisters and one brother; and seevral grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 9 a.m. in Buena Park. Mr. And Mil. Mrs. SteUa Cleo Phillips, 65. died list night at her home in Black Oak community where she had lived for the past 34 years. She was born in Madison County January 31, 1887, the daughter of James and Dannie McBroom. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband, Polk Phillips; one daughter, Ilda Wood of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers. Lawerence McBroom of Fayetteville and Jess McBroom of Huntsville; two sisters. Mrs. Backie Taylor of Centerton, and Mn. Effie Reed of Huntsville; one grandchild and one great grandchild. . Funeral services are to be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Strain Church, conducted by the Rev. Paul Watson. Burial will b: jn the Strain cemetery Under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel. The Courts Municipal Court Bill Coughmin, 38, of Winslow. was lined $40 and sentenced to 'one day in jail on a charge of drunken driving. G, C. The thief herded employes into the cellar ot the store at 50th Street and Eighth Avenue, opposite Madison Square Garden where the American Legion convention is being held. A total of 50 police were on street duty in the block for the convention while the bandit leisurely collected the money and escaped.
