State Traffic Toll Declines LITTLE ROCK (AP) -- Th« Arkansas State Police said to- dsy that 38 persons died in Arkansas traffic accidents during September, which is a decrease of 24 deaths over the same period a year ago. Capt. Gene Donham, commander of the Little Rock District of the Slate Police, said that six persons died during the month in traffic accidents in his district. Counties in the district recording deaths included Gar- Isntl with two deaths and Faulkner, Grant, Lonoke and Pulaski with one death each. Hot Spring, Prairie and Saline counties did not have any traffic fatalities during the reporting period. Donham said troopers in the eight-county area investigated 223 accidents. Pulaski county had the highest accident rate during September with 129 recorded mishaps. The report indicated that inattention was the leading causa in the accidents followed by speed and following too close. Prominent Italians Return From Sect MILAN, Italy (AP) - Duks Ludovico Melzi d'Eril and his wiTc Bianca, members of one of Italy's most prominent families, today were back at their villa near here after touring Europe for four months with a self-styled "Christ on earth." The 68-year-old duke and his wife, 62, turned up in Geneva on Tuesday, the first time they had been seen since J u n e 22 when they joined the sect of former Roman Catholic priest Rino Ferraro. An Italian judge has issued an arrest warrant for Ferraro, accused by ilia duke's family of talking the duke into financing the sect.
