farouk And family To f 'Live Simply" Isle ot Capri, Italy - (ft . Ex- King Farouk of Egypt, who claims i he is "no longer a rich man," rtin- j ed richly with, his family last night ' at one of this pleasure island's I most exclusive night clubs. The I ' unemployed monarch, who said yesterday that he would "live simply" now that he has lost his throne, was a guest of British " Musical Star Oracle Fields at her sumptuous "Canzone del Mare" restaurant. Oracle, an old friend of the de- · posed ruler, invited Farouk and his family to her villa for cocktails. Later the party -- which included ex-Queen Narriman and i · Farouk's three daughters by his previous marriage -- joined regular customers at the restaurant. It was learned that Narriman \ brought only four pieces of luggage with her when she followed · her husband into exile. The young ex-queen revealed this when she asked the wife of the owner of the hotel where Farouk and his · family are staying to have her white suit cleaned "as soon as possible." "I couldn't salvage much," she confided. Mrs. China Sumner, Gentry, state Grange lecturer, spoke to t h e Benton County P o m o n a U i a i i g e last Wednesday in the Apple Spur community building. Wayne Lawrence, Gentry, Pomona overseer, presided. The youth degree team will confer the Fifth degree on a class of candidates at Vaughn, August 29. Eenton County Pomona meetings will be held at Vaughn for the remainder of the year. A discussion of the Northwest Arkansas Beekeepers Association was given bv Dan Jessup. and the interstate embargo on feeder hogs to Arkansas was discussed. Jessup conducted a memorial ceremony for Mrs. Mary McGaw.'who died in June.
