Alfred E , Einert, associate professor of horticulture al the University of Arkansas, had been appointed to the Historical Preservation Committee of the American Society tit Landscape Architects. His appointment was announced by J. Steve Ownby of Stillwaler, Okla., president of the Southwest Cahpter. The Southwest Chapter is composed of representatives from five states--Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Dr. Einert will represent Arkansas in the Committee's project for the preservation of landscape areas around historical buildings, public and private gardens and wilderness areas.
