MOtTTWtST ARKANSAS T1MI ·lit, S.lurd./, Apr* '*. I'M Has Bees, Hoi In His Bonnet, But In His House Bill Bolt of 818 Douglas. Street came home from classes at the University Thursday anrt found that spring, in the form of a swarm of bees, had slipped in his kitchen window. The bees were perfectly willing to share the apartment with Bolt, but he wasn't willing to share it with them. Al Beaty, a fearless neighbor, holds a curtain back in the top picture, exposing the loudly h u m m i n K swarm of bees In a kitchen window. The ne*t shot shows another strong-nerved citizen--who kept his identity a secret so he wouldn't bo called on by everyone who found bees in his kitchen--transferring the bees, queen and all, from the window into a hive, with the wastebasket sitting on it. At right is the home hive of the little swarmcrs. Turned out, they had been living under the floor of Bolt's apartment ail winter long and apparently just wanted to move upstairs for the summer.
