The junior and Class B division will compete Friday, May 2. Teams from the Big Six and Class A will hold their meet the next day. Winners of first and second places in event* In eight District meets will be eligible for the A, B and junior classifications. E a c h Big Six school will be allowed two competitors in each event. Snead Second At Greensboro Greensboro, N. C.-yP)-Art Wall, Jr., the Pennsylvanian who boasts a phenomenal record of 31 holfis- in-one, was on the threshold of his first big victory 'in a three-year professional golfing career today. But standing squarely in his path to the $2,000 firts place payoff window of the $10,000 Greater Greensboro Open Tournament was Sammy Snead, an old hand at winning here. Wall came in with a 67 in yesterday's third round for a 54-hole total of 206 and a one-stroke lead over Snead, whose earlier 68 had Riven him what appeared to be the eventual lead at 207 with which to start today's last round. It was far from a two-man scramble, however. County Baseball Loop To Hold Heeling There will be a meeting of representatives of teams interested in entering the - Washington County Baseball League tonight at B o'clock, at the Arkansas Sporting Goods store on Dickson Street. The purpose of the meeting is to make preliminary arrangements for organization and scheduling for this summer's loop play. Ail county teams interested are invited to attend.
