Glover Wanls Slogan Restored LITTLE ROCK AP) --iSlale Rep. Bobby Glover of Carlisle wants the slogan "Land of Opportunity" ' restored on license plates issued to Arkansas motorists. Glover said Thursday that he will ask the Legislative Council today to recommend the action to the state revenue commis- sioner. · · i The slogan, which appeared on Arkansas motor vehicle tags for many years, was removed in 1967 when the state converted to the letter-number system from a straight number system. Glover said the slogan should be restored because its purpose to advertise an outstanding characteristic and, promote a sense of pride in Arkansas. He said no legislation would be neccessary since the revenue commission already has the power to take the action. STARTS TOMORROW T"" makes a big SPLASH!
