Chrys- er Corp. says it is passing on major price boosts by the steel ndustry. The average Chrysler if will be about $60 a vehicle, r 1.4 per cent. A General Motors spokesman declined on Thursday to rule ut a new CM price hike, "Obviously this additiona teel cost increase will have to e considered in our continuing view of prices," he said. Director Retires PINE BLUFF, Arlt. (AP) -Glenwood B. Achorn Jr., former director of biological operations at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, said Thursday that he will retire as associate director of the operations office of the National Center for Toxicological Research near here. Achorn helped to build up one of the world's largest germ w a r f a r e arsenals and then oversaw its eradication. President Nixon ordered the com plete destruction of the county's stockpile of anti-personnel biological materials and weapons in 1969. Achorn said he did not regre the President's decision, bu said it was unusual for him t direct the destruction of a program thai he and others had la bored years to create. He said he would work as i consultant with the Federa Drug Administration in hi spare time and devote mor time to · the Arkansas and Technology Council, which he is a member.
