The Kearney Fayetteville Plant began operations 27 years ago with 27 em- ployes in a 15,000 square foot building. Today in 1974, 300 skilled employes work in a 135,000 square foot facility and earn more than $2,000,000 in wages annually. Our product lines include the following items manufactured in Fayetteville: LIGHTENING ARRESTORS: If your electrical power continues during an electrical storm, it may be in part because the Kearney Lightning Arrestor is on the system, diverting dangerous electrical surges to ground, protecting the tansformers and electrical lines, thus assuring you continuous electrical power. CUTOUTS are durable high-voltage fuse devices to interrupt power fault currents occurring on the power line up to 20,000 amps. For maximum protection to both 'equipment and service, these cutouts are complemented by Kearney fuse linke for use in the cutouts which protects transformers and capacitors. Kearney produces 50W of all the fuse links used by America's Electrical Utility Companies- CONNECTORS provide line termination and splicing where lines can be spliced in order to prevent excessive distortion or cutting of stranded customers. HILINE TOOLS extended periormnace and security to line personnel. New and improved tools are contsantly being developed to enable men of the power companies to work live lines easier and with greater safety so that you, the consumer of electrical power, can have uninterrupted service.
