Captain Clara Wood of Division 5, of Sacramento recited "Starry Flag of Ours." Mrs. Anna Jordan favored with a piano selection. The order accepted an Invitation from Col. Wyman Circle, G. A.

Oakland Loyal Orange Lodges in Church Parade Oakland Loyal Orange Lodge, accompanied by Edith Cavell Ladies Loyal Orange Lodge and Oakland Temple Royal P.lack Preceptory, held their annual church parade and divine service at the First Baptist church Sunday evening, July 6. The members, four hundred strong, headed by the K. K. K.

band, left the lodge room of I. O. O. F. temple and marched through the streets to the church.

Seats were reserved In the body of the church for the members of the order. The service was of a special character and was conducted by the pastor, Kev, Bro. Joha Pnape, who took his text from the book of Exodus, "What Mean-eth Ye by This Service." The pastor delivered an address suitable for the occasion touching on the liberties of America, an open Bible, the public school, equal rights to all and special privileges to none. State Grand Chaplain, Ero Ralph Fulcher delivered a brief address setting forth the principles Of the Order. On Saturday, July 12, the local lodges "held a picnic and celebration at Shellmound Park.

On the speakers' platform were Dr. Rush Bronson, grand lecturer of the Ku Klux Klan, Kev. W. H. JlcConnell and Bro.

R. Fulcher, state grand chaplain, all "of whom gave addresses on the principles of citizenship and lie order. The state grand master acted as chairman. The events of the day were brought to a close with a dance given In the I. O.

RELIEF CORPS TO BE HOST AT BRIDGE PARTY Lyon Itellef Corps held its regular weekly meeting in Wigwam hall last Wednesday afternoon with a good attendance of members and visiting comrades. The corps will give a whist party on Wednesday afternoon, August 12.

The corps voted to hold Its regular annual bazaar at a date to be announced later. Mrs. Alice Cox was appointed chairman of the committee on arrangements. The Sewing Club will again resume its meetings and will meet some time early in August, date and place to be announced next week. F.
