Special Correspondent The Oakland TRIBUNE NEW YORK, March is following the example of Texas Guinan and Aimee McPherson and getting into print or rather into prints. The print cloths are certain to be a feature spring wardrobes and the printed silks are most entrancing. The motifs are a trifle larger than in the past and more widely spaced. The dresses are simple with slightbloused bodices and skirts frequently composed of wide flounces, which give a certain fullness without detracting from the slendor line the styles impose.

WATSONVILLE, March Miss Betty Kane, employee of the New York bakery, frustrated the attempts of two unidentified marauders to burglarize the bakery. She was alone in the establishment when she reard th crash of glass. Rushing to a side door, she was confronted by two men, who turned and ran down the street, closely followed by the plucky girl. So close was she behind them that one man dropped his overcoat, which is being held by the police department. The would-be burglars, however, made their escape in the darkness.
